Just because someone does things every time, it doesn’t mean she’ll continue to do that for you much longer. Most people have things in life that they’re uncertain whether or not their contribution has any external impact at all. This happens because we often forget to remind them about the great job they’re doing.
If there is a lady in your church who has been playing the organ for years, she might be unaware how valuable her skills are to your congregation. If there is an employee in your organization who keeps everyone’s job easy, she might not remember the last time anyone thanked for her performance. By the way, that’s a performance, not a job.
